Fourth Wing is a book that is popular on Booktok with many videos about the dragons and relationships and is a New York Times bestseller.

Fourth Wing follows Violet Sorrengail as she is forced to enter the Riders Quadrant at Basgaith War College abandoning her dream of becoming a Scribe. Basgaith is a military academy in which the rider's quadrant students aspire to become dragon riders.

Violet makes close friends with fellow cadets Ridoc,Sawyer and Rhianon. She also has a degenerative disease which affects her ligaments and can be a disadvantage with the deadly nature of their training.

I enjoyed the relationships between characters, whether good or bad, and the storyline.

I can relate to the relationship between Violet and Jesina the Scribe through a shared love of books.

The plot points don’t drag, and it’s continually fast pacing. The ending left me wanting to read more.

If you are interested in college dramas and dragons you should definately give Fourth Wing a read.
