NCEA Exams begin on Monday 6th November and finish on Thursday 30th November.
For many students they have already gained their NCEA Level Qualification. However, this does not mean they should not sit any of their External exams that they are entered into. Sitting exams is an important skill for students who are wanting to go off to university or further training course after leaving school. These institutions will be looking at the student’s exam marks rather than their internal marks. Also, for some students, it means a chance of gaining an Endorsement in a subject area or an overall Endorsement for their level. Therefore, we expect to see full attendance of all students at all exams and seek your support in this matter.
Students were issued with exam slips on Tuesday 24th October, which lists the exams they are entered into. Please check these slips so you know when your child has an exam. The NCEA exam timetable is also attached.
Please note that the dates are not always in chronological order on the admission slips. It is highly recommended that students highlight their exams on the exam timetable.
