Ko te manu e kai ana i te miro, nōna te ngāhere.
Ko te manu e kai ana i te matauranga, nōna te ao.
Tēnā koe,
The College is very proud of the cultural achievements of our students with many having shown good focus and excellent application this year as a member of Pukekaihau or in pursuit of excellence in cultural activities around the College. This success reflects good support from home and relates well to our targets for the participation of students at Central Hawke’s Bay College. Earlier this year we had a recognition evening for Māori academic achievers and now it is appropriate to focus on Māori students excelling in the cultural arena and to farewell those that are departing Central Hawke’s Bay College.
Central Hawke's Bay College invites you and any other members of your whānau to ‘Te Pō Whakanui Māori’ – a celebration of success for Māori students in cultural performance.
The celebration event will take place on Thursday 27th October 2022 at 6.00pm in T6 and will conclude with a light supper.
This time will also be valuable for getting feedback on learning and school issues. Please ensure that your child attends in full uniform and in ‘number ones’ wherever possible.
I look forward to seeing you on Thursday evening.
