After some COVID related delays the 2022 competition was able to take place last Thursday with the combination of our four Houses performing proudly to the school.
While this year’s competition was not without its challenges, our senior leaders were dedicated to ensuring this event went ahead no matter what. After some discussion the unanimous decision was made to combine the four houses and perform our two set pieces which are the school Mōteatea, Ko Ngā Pou and the school Haka, Ruataniwha. These items were performed with passion and enthusiasm, and promoted the strong spirit of our school's unity.
Like all competitions there needs to be a winner, this year’s Houses were judged on commitment to attending practice, contribution during practice and the demonstration of leadership throughout the entire event.
Congratulations to Freyberg House for winning the overall event.
