On Tuesday 22 March we trusted the weather forecast and went ahead with our Annual Inter-House Triathlon.  The course was altered this year for the bike section, keeping it all off road and on the lime track as a safer option for our cyclists. 

Although numbers were down due to COVID, the students that participated still gave it their all.  We managed to include all those competing in teams, even with team members missing, by creating a new unofficial duathlon race, covering the run and bike section.  This highlights how flexible, creative and determined the students have become during these unusual and testing times. 

Thank you to the general public who use the walkway and a huge thanks must also go out to the Parents and the Students who offered their time and support by being marshals along the course.

Of note was the performance of three siblings. Caitlin Kirk (Freyberg) won the Individual Junior Girls section and brothers Lachlan and Kegan (also Freyberg) were first and second respectively in the Senior Boys Individual event. Other Individual winners were Rata Tylee (Cobham) in the Senior Girls and Carter Rawleigh (Grey) in the Junior Boys.
