X-Country Success

Caitlin Kirk ran in the New Zealand North Island Cross Country Championships at Taupo over the weekend for the Hastings Harriers Club.  Chilly conditions, but an amazing result in bare feet. She came 3rd overall out of 29 under 14 year old girls in a time of 11.47.03.  Congratulations Caitlin well done.

International Dressage Win

Congratulations Leah Bibby from CHB Pony Club and her team mate Willa Aitken from Otane Pony Club, who competed in the first ever virtual Pony Club International Alliance Dressage Show 2021 hosted by the Hong Kong Pony Club. 

Competing against seven Countries from around the world including USA, Hong Kong, Canada, South Africa, Australia, United Kingdom and New Zealand, the girls

won the Pas de Deux Freestyle to Music section of the Alliance Virtual Dressage Show 2021.

Pas de Deux is a freestyle dressage test preformed to music. The horses must be in harmony and compete as mirror images of each other and together as a pair. It takes great concentration and lots of practise to perform.
